Tokyo Office to temporally shift to telecommuting

In accordance with the press conference of March 25, 2020 of Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike calling on residents of Tokyo to refrain from going outside in the coming days, we wish to inform our clients that all members of Fukami Patent Office’s Tokyo office will shift to telecommuting for the time being from Friday, March 27th.

Our Tokyo Office continues to operate as usual by telecommuting, however, we would highly appreciate your understanding that office meetings and receptionist services will not be available.  We ask our clients and associates to use e-mail to contact our Tokyo Office during this period.  Telephone calls will be automatically transferred to our Osaka office.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

<Other means of communication to our Tokyo Office during telecommuting period>
Telephone: Calls made to the Tokyo office will be automatically forwarded to the Osaka office.
Facsimile: We are able to confirm faxes received, but we are not able to reply to them via facsimile.
Mailings: We kindly ask you to refrain from sending any parcels or correspondence by mail and would recommend e-mails instead.

Please note that the Osaka Office and Nagoya Office are conducting office business as usual and we will continue to take several measures to prevent the spread of infection of the Covid-19 virus.
