Specializing in intellectual property law with a robust technical foundation in Computer Science, Mr. Nakamura holds a degree in Information Engineering, where his research focused on Augmented Reality (AR) systems. Prior to his career in IP, he gained practical industrial experience in IT operations and systems maintenance.

As a registered Patent Attorney, he focuses on domestic and international patent prosecution in the electrical and IT fields.

His analytical rigor and mental acuity are evidenced by his performance in the JAXA Astronaut Selection Exam, where he successfully advanced through a grueling battery of assessments, including advanced STEM, linguistics, general education, and psychological aptitude tests. Furthermore, he demonstrated his technical leadership on a global stage by leading a multinational team to victory in a Meta-hosted VR Hackathon.

A truly global citizen, he has traveled to approximately 30 countries across all inhabited continents—spanning Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. His firsthand experience with diverse cultures informs his approach to international intellectual property law.

These experiences have equipped him with a unique ability to navigate diverse cultural and business landscapes.

In addition to his qualification as a patent attorney, Mr. Nakamura holds several specialized certifications, including Applied IT Engineer (Japan’s national-level advanced IT credential), EIKEN Grade 1 (highest English proficiency / CEFR C1 equivalent), and Semiconductor Fundamental Technology.

He is dedicated to delivering high-value legal strategies and ensuring the strongest possible protection for his clients’ innovations.
